I suppose they are in cages yet your photos are all without any signs of them. That is the effect I like, an illusion as if they are in the wild. I have yet to master this art.
What great pics!! Also loving the new layout of your blog, finally after a 3mth hiatus I am back blogging and catching up with my favorite blogs, I’ve missed you and the garden blogging community! Cheers Julia
Love it!
Thanks for the safari – which zoo was this? San Diego?
Buffalo. Right in the city center in A Frederick Law Olmsted park.
I love that we get to be the recipient of your wonderful pics…I can tell you have been busy since you discovered Galen’s blog…
These are wonderful pics…you have been busy!!
The lemur is special because of the detail in the eyes. The ripples around your unnamed duck are also striking. Very nice.
I love going to the zoo! Thanks for the virtual trip through your spectacular photos! The lemurs and monkeys are so fun to watch aren’t they?

Gorgeous! I love the tamarin pictures. Their coats are so pretty! And I just want to reach out and see how soft the lemur’s coat is.
That peafowl looks a little annoyed…
I love the colours. But the grey furry one is also cute.
Beautiful photos!
Great pics!
Exotic is the word! What wonderfully enjoyable photographs!

BTW, the duck you didn’t know is a Red Breasted Goose. ;_
Thank you James for the ID. Appreciated. I never saw a goose like that before. They sure are pretty.
